Why did you decide to join MUNSS?

This is my 1st year on MUNSS and I am more than ready to take on the challenges that the 2020-2021 academic year brings. I hope to connect with students and faculty to improve the university experience through exciting academic and social opportunities. I encourage you to participate in MUNSS meetings and voice your concerns too!

What are some goals this year regarding your MUNSS role?

I look forward to making the best use of our budget and resources to ultimately enhance the council’s operational efficiency and create even more impact. I want to increase the transparency in how MUNSS spends money and ensure that the nursing student body understands where their society fees are going. I would also like to gain insight into the financial constraints that the executive team anticipates in order to make informed decisions.

What advice do you have for your fellow nursing students?

It is important to live life at your own pace to unlock your full potential. Learn how to take a step back when you feel discouraged without casting doubt on your dreams.

2 Truths & 1 Lie

  • I drowned and lost consciousness in my Bronze Cross lifeguarding class at a local recreational center pool when I was 14 years old.
  • I received an unexpected marriage proposal from a random police officer in the Square One Shopping Centre on New Year’s Eve.
  • I was born with straight hair, but it became curly forever after I went on a camping trip in the Township of Mulmur.

Please do not hesitate to strike up a conversation with me and I will definitely share with you the statement that is false!
