Level IV Conestoga Site
RPN-BScN 2019 – 2020
Why did you decide to join MUNSS?
I chose to join MUNSS to facilitate connections for the cohort of bridging students from all sites – I hope to create awareness of MUNSS initiatives and ensure the RPN-BScN students feel a part of the greater nursing students society.
What are some goals this year regarding your MUNSS role (i.e. plans, events, changes you want to make, etc.)?
I plan to organize de-stress events outside of students’ studies including social, educational and career-building options to cater to a variety of student needs. Some event ideas I have in mind include a paint night, bowling outing & anatomy/pathophysiology review session. It is my goal to be the voice for RPN-BScN students and advocate for students in the bridging program. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other event ideas at email@example.com.
What advice do you have for your fellow nursing students?
Enjoy your time as a student nurse! It’s so important to get involved and make the most of your time in post-secondary. There is a lot more to your education outside of the classroom, and MUNSS is an amazing opportunity to get more out of the McMaster/Conestoga/Mohawk tri-site experience!
A fun fact about yourself!
Last summer I traveled to 13 countries and 22 cities throughout Europe in 50 days!
